Where I worked

December 2022 – current: R&D Project Manager @ Barberini, EssilorLuxottica, Pescara, Italy and Grünenplan, Germany.

June 2021 – August 2021: Freelance Consultant @ Sastre Consulting Ltd, Vienna, Austria. Consultant for in-depth country analysis to help guide investment decisions.

April 2017 – June 2017: Project Assistant @ Technische Universität Wien, Vienna, Austria. Research role in synthesis and characterization of polyimide-based membranes.

2004 – 2017: Exhibition Assistant @ Lineasette Snc, Marostica, Italy. Represent the company at international trade exhibitions in Milan, Frankfurt, New York, Dubai, and others, establishing contact with potential customers and ensuring business acquisition.

2008 – 2017: Freelance Private Tutor. One-on-one chemistry lessons for high-school students.

Where I studied

PhD – Materials Science (2017 – ongoing)

Synthesis and characterization of molecular crystals and their use for the synthesis of high-performance polymers.

Institute of Materials Chemistry, Technische Universität Wien, Vienna, Austria. Supervisor: Prof. Miriam M. Unterlass (link to website).

MSc – Pure and Applied Chemistry (2013 – 2017)

Synthesis of high-performance polymers using hydrothermal techniques.

Dipartimento di Scienze Chimiche, Università degli Studi di Padova, Padova, Italy and Institute of Materials Chemistry, Technische Universität Wien, Vienna, Austria. Experimental work conducted within Erasmus+ at TU Wien in the group of Miriam M. Unterlass (link to website). Supervisor at Università degli Studi di Padova: Prof. Silvia Gross (link to website).

BSc – Pure and Applied Chemistry (2008 – 2013)

Characterization of structural properties of diphenytellurides using DFT computational techniques.

Università degli Studi di Padova, Padova, Italy. Supervisor: Ass. Prof. Laura Orian (link to website).
